What are the symptoms of diabetes?
1. You are thirsty all the time no matter how much water you drink.
2. You pee very often and your urine smells
3. Your breast smells awful
4. You get many vaginal and urinary tract infections that don’t go away
5. You have vaginal dryness and have problems with intercourse
6. Your cuts and bruises do not heal well
7. Your feet and hands tingle and get uncomfortable a condition called neuropathy
8. Your eyes have trouble seeing and are blurry.
When diabetes advances and gets worse, blood vessels are damaged everywhere in the body including the heart the brain and the kidneys. High blood sugar levels affect our immunity and make us at risk for developing cancers and serious infections.
Diagnosis is easy. It requires blood testing to check morning sugar levels and a test called hemoglobin A1C. These tests can be done in our office.
