White House Turns Pink in Honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is Breast Cancer Awareness month. During this period, we recognize the importance of early detection of breast cancer in the USA. Breast Cancer affects 1 out of 8 women in the USA. Most of us have family members, friends and coworkers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.

Our office, Woman to Woman Gynecology – lvgyn.com – joins in this campaign to help women with early detection of breast cancer. We offer physical exams and referrals for mammograms, ultrasounds and MRIs of breasts for the early detection of breast cancer. We refer patients to breast surgeons for definitive surgical treatments. We offer referrals for genetic counseling for those patients with family members affected by breast cancer.

Early detection and breast health awareness are critical to long term survival from breast cancer. A breast cancer diagnosed early and treated immediately will result in best health outcomes.
